Projects and Previous Events

Part of our work is to help rescues boost funds when the need arises, whatever the reason behind it. It may be to raise funds for a large project or to provide help towards the cost of specialist care or treatment for a specific animal, all will be promoted on this page.  Please take some time to look at our current projects and events and join in or help by making a donation – no matter how small it may seem – if you feel able to.  All donations are welcome and hugely appreciated by The Animal Team and the rescues we help.

ONLINE DOG SHOW RESULTS

Congratulations to all of you who won BUT we do have to stress ALL were and are winners. In total we raised over £340.00 and we had 180 entries, which was fantastic! We are extremely grateful to Silverdale Boarding Kennels for sponsoring this event.

We will be giving £126 to Balto & Co Dog Rescue who needed to find funds for EB (Emergency Boarding ) which is 3 weeks worth of EB, this will give them time to find another foster. This rescue goes above and beyond for so many dogs. YOU have helped this dog & rescue by supporting The Animal Team and by all joining in this event. Thank you SO much.

WETNOSE DAY: 29th September – 1st October 2017

Wetnose Animal Aid is raising funds that will be given to struggling Animal Rescue Centres to help pay off vets bills, buying equipment or animal feed which would go a long way to helping them in their day to day invaluable work. These Rescue Centres are experiencing a marked downturn in donations, but a noticeable increase in animals being ‘dumped’ on them, as owners continue for various reasons not to be able to keep their animals. That equation does not balance, and therefore this Wetnose Day is an important event to help raise serious levels of funds to get the balance back.

So why not hold your own FUNdraising event to help this fantastic cause. You can find some great ideas on the Fundraising Ideas page along with  event registration and sponsorship forms. On behalf of all the sick and vulnerable animals “Thank You Very Much” for your help!
